On the occasion of International Literacy Day 2025, it was emphasized that education is the foundation of a strong and progressive society. Educating the young generation is not merely the task of governments and institutions but a collective responsibility of the entire community.

Highlighting the role of education in shaping the future, Shakil Ahmed Kakvi noted that true literacy is not limited to books but represents awareness, equality, and justice. By combining moral values with modern education, children can be empowered to lead both their own lives and society toward progress.

He further suggested that unused village buildings and havelis can be transformed into centers of learning, ensuring that opportunities for education reach every corner of rural India. Education, he stressed, is the most effective tool to overcome poverty, inequality, and social challenges.

“Every child must study, every child must grow” should not remain just a slogan, but become a shared mission of teachers, parents, social workers, and the youth themselves.

International Literacy Day 2025 serves as a reminder that building a literate society is the key to ensuring inclusive growth and a brighter tomorrow for all.
