On 15th October 2024, Kainat International School proudly celebrated World Handwashing Day, aligning with this year’s theme: “Why Are Clean Hands Still Important?” The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of maintaining hygiene, especially handwashing, as a critical practice for health and well-being.

Students across all grades actively engaged in group discussions, where they explored the significance of cleanliness and the many health benefits of washing hands regularly. They discussed how proper hand hygiene can prevent the spread of diseases and protect communities from infections.

In addition to classroom discussions, the students were given the task of creating posters, slogans, and presentations to spread awareness on the topic. They were encouraged not only to adopt these practices themselves but also to become advocates of hygiene by promoting handwashing in their homes, among family members, and within their neighborhoods.

The event fostered a spirit of responsibility, empowering students to lead by example and make a positive impact on their surroundings. Teachers guided the students through fun, interactive activities that made learning about hygiene engaging and memorable.

Kainat International School remains committed to nurturing not just academic excellence, but also the personal and social development of its students. By participating in global initiatives such as World Handwashing Day, we aim to instill lifelong habits of cleanliness and care for community health.
